Record your intention to join us on Saturday, 25th September, 2010 for our Fall Kayak Trip to Captain Sam's Spit.

  We will meet at Mingo Point, Kiawah Island at 3:00 PM and the trip will leave at 3:30 PM. We hope to be able to kayak out to the end of the Spit using the current just before low tide and then view the birds, including the piping plovers and American oystercatchers. We will be accompanied by experienced naturalists with the Kiawah Island Nature Program who are very knowledgeable about the widelife on the Kiawah River and the Spit.

  The trip will finish at 5:30 PM at which time we are invited by our President, Sidi Limehouse, to Rosebank Farms where he will have supper waiting for us.

  There is no charge for the trip or supper, but donations to help our cause will be happily accepted. Please bring checks payable to "SCELP" to the start.
